Eligibility
- UR, SC and OBC: 10th pass (High School or equivalent).
- ST: 8th pass or equivalent.
- A valid heavy vehicle driving licence is mandatory.
- Candidates must also pass a separate practical Trade Test.

Selection Process
Written exam → Physical Efficiency Test (40 marks) → Document Verification → Trade Test (qualifying) → Medical. Final selection is based on the written exam percentile and physical test marks. About 7 times the number of vacancies will be called for the physical test after the written exam.
Salary
Pay scale ₹19,500 – ₹62,000 plus allowances as per rules.
